Ibrahim López ist selbst in Venezuela geboren und wollte die Zustände dort nicht mehr länger ansehen. Er beschloss  etwas dagegen zu unternehmen und hat mit befreundeten Künstlern und dem Mercure Hotel MOA Berlin das Benefiz-Event „Künstler für Kinder in Venezuela” organisiert.

Als Modedesigner präsentierte er am gestrigen Abend auf der Benefizgala seine aktuelle Prêt-à-Porter-Kollektion „Reborn”. Der Reinerlös aus allen Einnahmen des Abends (inkl. dem Verkauf der Kollektion) sowie alle Spenden kamen direkt der Stiftung TEJIENDO NIDOS zugute.

Im Jahr 2001 zog Ibrahim López nach Berlin, Deutschland und zeigte in diesem Jahr seine Arbeit öffentlich vor einem deutschen Publikum in Zusammenarbeit mit Stephan Griese und seinem Modelabel „Palto MODE Design”. Ein Jahr später nahm er an der Modenschau „Walk of Fashion – Berlin” teil. Als Berlin sein neues Zuhause wurde, gründete er sein eigenes Label Ibrahim López Atelier in Berlin / Kreuzberg. Seit heute zeigte Ibrahim López seine verschiedenen Kollektionen an verschiedenen Orten. Seitdem hat Ibrahim López seinen individuellen Stil entwickelt und lässt seine Inspirationen immer als Grundlage für neue Werke erscheinen.

Verschiedene Projekte entstanden, darunter eine lateinamerikanische Männerkollektion mit dem Namen „La Costa”, neue Designs für Theaterstücke und Live-Acts mit Konzeptentwürfen für Aèrea Negrot und Skinnerbox auf ihrem neuesten Video „The Alphabet”. Er kreierte auch einzigartige Brautstücke und Abendoutfits für besondere Anlässe. Der Designer Ibrahim Lopez hat daher einen Benefiz-Abend initiiert, mit dem er von Berlin aus einen kleinen Beitrag der Hilfe leisten wollte.
